ugh. stupid flu. being sick is a miserable feeling..
but anw.. check out L14 of today's papers.. "what wld u die for?" (by asad latif. this guy is so very cool.) very interesting read.. and poses a v interesting way of looking at terrorists n suicide bombers n the likes..
The problem occurs when an obsession with death defines life, when the cult of martyrdom is the highest calling that a person can aspire to, when individuals are marked by a death wish so powerful that it becomes a collective badge of honour.

kinda stuck home with a bad throat and bad weather. supposed to go indian food hunting! but whats e pt when spicy food's off limits for me now..
oh wells, so i'm bored. just had my weekly dosage of kim possible.. haha, i luv the show! what with ron stoppable and rufus e naked mole rat.. :) n wayne the super smart techie.. i bet he belongs to the special grp of top IQ ppl in e world n stuff..
riight. i'm bored now la. cant wait till tonight. haha, it's gonna be another of those insommiac nights cos of all e coffee already and potentially in my system..
oh well..

anw so yeap.. just had to do those not-to-be-taken-seriously, totally-feel-good quizzes.. (dont they just add up to being delusional?) haha..
hmm.. n e 2nd quiz here kinda reminds me of those assessments primary sch form teachers write.. like how "being spontaneous" in class actually means "super talkative.. cant get her to shut up n sit still".. stuff like tt.. n well.. e 2nd analysis so-called.. kinda hints at me being super childish. n apparently i can pass off as a sec 4 kid. hmmm.. haha.. but i guess they kinda put it in a pretty nice way..

as some of you wld know, the past 4 months have been trying ones for me. starting out on a new phase in my life (well yeah, university happened), not coping at all with schwork... i was so caught up with school matters, that everything else took a lesser place... i didnt make much time for anything else.
but e days at camp got me thinking about all these again, especially that of the omega, smth like the game of life. while being all caught up w material goal-chasing, years flash by and e unexpected happen to our lives. and it's very easy to keep putting God as second place.. to serve God tomorrow.. but there's always a tomorrow and u'll never know if it's just another day till this life's over.
there is a strong sense of urgency to use our lives for God's purposes.. and it doesn't matter that we are young now.. as camp theme wld have it, Christ calls us to follow Him regardless.. being young shld and must not stop us from accepting this invitation.. however, we have to bear in mind that the cost of discipleship is high, n be prepared for trials n stuff.. but we shld never let this discourage us from following Christ.. for we have a friend in Him, always n forever.. n we shld always keep our guard against complacency.. just becos it's all too easy to backslide, i think.. hmm, i hope i managed to summarise uncle neale's speaker sessions properly like this..
it was thought provoking really.. made me think again about my priorities.. smth i've always had trouble getting right.. hmmm, yeah, interesting..
